Health Education Talk: Seeing Clearly: When do Cataracts Need Treatment?

Cataract is a universal clouding of the natural lens in the human eye. While ubiquitous among the elderly, there is often confusion on when the cataract is ‘ripe’ for surgery. In this talk, we will explain common signs and symptoms of cataracts, and practical considerations for cataract surgery. You will also learn about the common types of intraocular lenses available, and what to consider when choosing the one that best suits your needs.
